Yurbuds Inspire Versus Yurbuds Inspire Pro
Yurbuds recently released a sequel to their popular Yurbuds Inspire. However, today I don’t want to talk about the sequel, I want to talk about the original.
Why?
Often times sequels just get too much hype and in many cases end up worse off than the original. Unfortunately I think that’s the case here too. Yurbuds took a great product, tried to improve it and ended up making it worse.
If youre anything of a fitness fanatic then you already know the importance of having a quality pair of sports headphones. On top of that one of the most important aspect of those headphones should be comfort and fit, even more so than any other type of headphones. The Yurbuds Inspire hit the nail on the head with their Twist Lock technology, but for some reason the Yurbuds Inspire Pro miss the mark.
I havent been able to quite put my finger on it, but the fit just isnt the same. The only real change to the headphones was the addition of in-line volume controls. So, my only guess is that the added weight to the cord possibly gets caught up on clothing and ends up pulling on the ear buds. However, thats not a great conclusion. In the end, I dont know what the problem is, but Ill be sticking with the original and not the sequel.
